Reach Truck Operator

We are seeking a dependable Reach Truck Operator to support warehouse operations at one of our client sites in Perryman, Md. In this role, you will safely move, store, and retrieve products using a reach truck while helping maintain accurate inventory and an organized work area.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am until work is done 

Pay rate: $21 an hour with weekly pay on Friday’s.

Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck safely to move, put away, and retrieve products from warehouse racking.

• Load, unload, and stage materials for shipping, receiving, or production.

• Pick orders and replenish warehouse locations according to work instructions.

• Verify product numbers, quantities, and locations; report discrepancies or damaged goods.

• Use warehouse systems or handheld scanners to record inventory movements.

• Complete daily equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Maintain clean, orderly aisles and follow warehouse safety procedures.

• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous reach truck or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

• Current forklift/reach truck certification, or willingness to complete employer-provided training and evaluation.

• Ability to read labels, follow written and verbal instructions, and accurately handle inventory records.

• Strong attention to safety, reliability, and detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to lift and move warehouse materials as required for the role.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse or distribution environment and may involve standing, walking, bending, and working around moving equipment. Schedule and physical requirements may vary by site.
