These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Verith: the website, your verified profile, connections and messages, the job board and tracker, Company Insights, and the anonymous community (together, the "Service"), operated by Verith ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Your account is for you alone. Keep your email and Google account secure, because anyone who can get into them can get into Verith, and you're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't impersonate anyone, and don't misrepresent your work history, education or verification.
Verith is a candidate-first platform: a verified professional profile, a network of connections, a job board and personal job tracker, Company Insights where people share honest reviews, pay and interview experiences, and an anonymous community where members talk under a handle.
Connect only with people you know or have a real professional reason to contact. Your connections can see your full profile, your posts and the contact details you add. Don't use Verith to spam, sell, recruit people who haven't asked, or harass anyone, and don't share someone's private messages or contact details outside Verith without their permission.
You own what you write. By posting on Verith you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute that content on the Service (and in aggregate form that doesn't identify you, such as company-level statistics) for as long as it stays on Verith. If a submission is rejected in moderation, or you delete it or your account, we stop showing it, except Company Insights reports already published, which stay up anonymously as described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to post content that is:
See our Community Guidelines for the full picture.
Job listings come from companies' public career sites. We don't employ anyone, we aren't the employer for any listing, and we can't promise a listing is still open or accurate. When you apply, you apply on the company's own site. Your tracker (saved jobs, stages, notes and files) is yours. Some tracker answers about the hiring process can be shared anonymously to Company Insights if you choose; that never includes your name, your account or your personal location.
Some features use AI: suggesting profile details from a resume you upload, filling in a job from a posting you add, suggesting company names, and writing company "About" summaries from a company's own public website (labeled as AI-generated). AI can get things wrong, so check what it fills in before you save. Inaccurate company information can be reported with "Suggest an edit" on that company's page. To keep the Service fair, AI features have a daily limit per member.
The site's design, layout, text, graphics and code are owned by Verith and protected by copyright. The Verith name and V logo are Verith's trademarks. You can use Verith for your own job search and career. You may not:
If we find Verith's design, code or content copied, we'll send takedown notices to the sites and hosts involved and take further action where needed. Breaking this section also ends your right to use Verith.
Sharing a link to a Verith page, or quoting a small part with credit, is fine. What you post stays yours, as described in section 6.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. It takes effect immediately and can't be undone. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these Terms, posts fraudulent or abusive content, games ratings or tiers (for example, multiple reviews of the same company), tries to identify anonymous members, or tries to get around our security.
Verith is provided "as is." We don't verify every review, salary figure, interview account, job listing, company statistic or AI-generated summary, and we don't guarantee they're complete or error-free. Use your own judgment. We aren't part of your employment relationship with any company, and nothing on Verith is legal, financial or career advice.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Verith and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions you make based on content other members posted.
We may update these Terms as Verith grows. If we make a material change, we'll post it here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use Verith after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
