Position Overview
Kelly Services is partnering with a client in Earth City, MO, to hire Lockbox Processing Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity on 2nd shift.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming mail payments using specialized equipment to extract, scan, and accurately route payment documents. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
•
Operate OPEX Falcon and Eagle equipment to open incoming mail, extract contents, and prepare payment documents for scanning.
•
Scan checks, remittance documents, and related payment materials according to established procedures.
•
Accurately route payment images and data into the appropriate processing systems.
•
Process approximately 600 mail envelopes per hour while maintaining quality standards.
•
Perform quality checks to ensure document completeness, image clarity, and data accuracy.
•
Identify processing errors or exceptions and escalate issues as needed.
•
Follow established security, confidentiality, and operational procedures.
•
Meet daily productivity and quality expectations.
•
Maintain reliable attendance and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
•
Previous experience in mail processing, lockbox operations, banking operations, or a production environment is preferred.
•
Experience operating OPEX Falcon or Eagle equipment is a plus.
•
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity goals.
•
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn processing systems.
•
Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures.
•
Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
