FORKLIFT OPERATORS

Location: Cypress, CA

Pay: $23.50/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 9:15 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary

We are currently seeking experienced standup and cherry picker forklift operators to join our warehouse team in Cypress, CA. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

– Operate stand up reach and cherry picker forklifts

– Load and unload materials from trailers and delivery vehicles.

– Pick and load orders accurately according to pick tickets.

– Inspect pallets for proper packaging, stacking, and labeling.

– Perform daily forklift inspections and report unsafe equipment or conditions.

– Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.

– Identify and communicate potential workplace hazards.

– Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

– Remove damaged pallets, trash, and cardboard from work areas.

– Follow receiving procedures and properly handle Bills of Lading (BOLs).

– Work effectively with warehouse team members and support a positive team environment.

– Flexibly assist in different warehouse areas and cross-train as needed.

– Complete assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and with attention to detail.

Requirements

– High school diploma or GED REQUIRED

– Minimum 1 year or recent forklift and warehouse material-handling experience required 

– Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.

– Ability to successfully complete forklift certification, including written and practical testing.

– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

– Ability to perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.

– Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.

– Ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining quality and productivity.

– Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.

– Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems.

– Ability to work effectively with coworkers and different levels of management.

– Willingness to cross-train and assist in other areas as needed.
