Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing, inventory planning, and material flow for a specialized aerospace manufacturing operation in Kent, Washington. This position plays a key role in securing hard-to-find components, supporting production timelines, and building strong supplier relationships in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings a practical understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and can balance logistics, purchasing, and operational priorities to keep the business moving efficiently.Responsibilities:• Direct sourcing strategies for recycled, repurposed, and specialty materials required for aerospace component production.• Oversee inventory planning and stock control to align material availability with manufacturing schedules and customer demand.• Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including negotiations, purchasing activity, and ongoing performance monitoring.• Coordinate closely with operations and warehouse staff to maintain efficient material movement from procurement through production completion.• Evaluate lead times, supply risks, and production requirements to support timely and cost-effective decision-making.• Guide a small onsite team responsible for warehouse support, parts coordination, and purchasing functions.• Use internal systems, including Pentagon, to track inventory, purchasing activity, and supply chain performance.• Identify creative sourcing solutions for difficult-to-obtain materials while maintaining quality and compliance standards.The salary range for this position is $95k to $120k (negotiable as well).
