Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and account customers

• Serve as a trusted resource by providing product information, pricing, and solutions to customer needs

• Process customer orders and coordinate delivery ticket creation for warehouse fulfillmentSupport counter sales activities and help drive a positive customer experience

• Operate cash registers and accurately process cash, check, and credit card transactions

• Prepare invoices, sales orders, and related documentationBuild and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers

• Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

• Assist with inventory management and maintain accurate inventory records

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions

• Maintain organized customer records, files, and business documentation

• Support warehouse operations, special projects, and other business needs as required

• Follow company safety policies, procedures, and operational standards

Typical Education

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.  A combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of customer service, sales support, retail operations, office administration, or related experience

• Counter sales or retail sales experience preferred

• Experience with order entry, invoicing, pricing, and customer account management

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Experience using multi-line phone systems

• Inventory management experience

• Background in turf, horticulture, agriculture, landscaping, or related industries is a plus

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued

• Strong proficiency with business software and computer systems

• Experience handling cash and payment transactions accurately

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business applications

• Ability to perform basic math functions

• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a customer-focused environment

Wage range or rate of pay: $23.00 - $26.00/hour DOE, plus annual incentive plan eligibility
