Information Systems/System Engineering Intern Engineer (Project Management)

Basic Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology. Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance obtainable within reasonable time based on requirements. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:

Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country. GDMS has an immediate opening for an Engineering Intern to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a foundation in finance and acquisition while working in an exciting and impactful field.

The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various projects of the GDMS organization and its clients. What You’ll Experience:

• Assist program teams with financial modeling, simulations, and smaller projects.

• Work on day-to-day financial tasks in an acquisition-focused environment.

• Gain valuable exposure to the submarine acquisition process.

Combined Salary Range
USD $27.50 - USD $22.75 /Hr.
